A remark I’ve heard several times in conversations about countries like Mexico, Guatemala, Nigeria, Pakistan, the entire continent of Africa/”over there.” Exotifying everyone in a certain country, although a seemingly positive remark it is still has very strong (negative) racial implications (via microaggressions)
